CAN Bus Reset Procedure

CAN Bus Reset Procedure

  1. Disconnect the Battery:

    • Remove the negative cable from the vehicle’s battery.

    • If the vehicle has two batteries, disconnect the negative cables from both.

  2. Wait:

    • Leave the negative cable(s) disconnected for approximately 15 to 20 minutes to allow the system to fully discharge.

  3. Reconnect:

    • After the wait period, securely reconnect the negative cable(s) to the battery.
