JL Wrangler Green Screen Issue:
If you experience a green screen or a Mountain Dew–like filter when activating the backup camera, it is most likely due to a digital camera signal from a JL Wrangler being read by a UAQ radio that supports only analog camera input.
This occurs when a radio originally from an "I-mount" UAQ (non-JL) is installed into a Wrangler JL, which requires a JL-specific UAQ unit with digital camera support.
To resolve this, the radio must be replaced with a JL-compatible UAQ.
Confirm CAN wiring in 52-pin is not damaged.
Perform CAN-bus reset.
If the screen becomes unresponsive or begins navigating on its own ("ghost touching"), this may be due to overtightened screen bracket screws during installation.
Loosen the bracket screws slightly — about half of a quarter turn — to relieve screen pressure.
Test touch functionality after adjusting to ensure normal operation.
Avoid over-tightening during installation to prevent this issue.
