For Uconnect-equipped vehicles with a factory display radio
Wire crimpers or connectors
Plastic trim tools (recommended)
Phillips/flathead screwdriver (for license plate)
Electrical tape or heat shrink tubing (optional for securing connections)
Universal hideaway-mount backup camera (license plate style)
C-INTC4T interface harness
C-RVC OBDII Programmer
EZ-DC 12V Accessory Power Kit
Remove the rear license plate.
Mount the backup camera using the hideaway bracket behind the license plate.
Reinstall the license plate securely over the bracket.
Route the camera’s wiring through the rear of the vehicle and toward the dashboard/radio area.
Be cautious of moving parts and secure the cable along the way to avoid pinching or damage.
For vehicles with license plates mounted on the liftgate, the camera wiring will need to be routed through the top of the liftgate, along the headliner, and down the front pillar to reach the back of the radio.
Locate the C-INTC4T interface harness behind the factory radio.
Disconnect the factory radio plug and insert the C-INTC4T pass-through harness between the radio and the factory plug.
On the C-INTC4T harness, locate the yellow RCA female video input.
Unplug the male RCA connector currently occupying this port.
Plug the yellow male RCA cable from the camera into this now-open yellow RCA female.
The male RCA from the C-INTC4T is not used.
Connect the red (power) and black (ground) wires from the camera to the EZ-DC 12V Accessory Power Kit.
Use wire crimpers or connectors to join the wires securely.
Optional: wrap connections with electrical tape or use heat shrink for a cleaner finish.
Plug the EZ-DC kit into any available 12V accessory/cigarette lighter port in the vehicle.
Reinstall any panels or trim removed during wiring.
Start the vehicle and wait 30 seconds to allow system initialization.
Plug the C-RVC OBDII programmer into the OBDII port located beneath the steering column.
Wait for the light on the programmer to turn green.
Once green, remove the programmer — programming is complete.
Shift the vehicle into Reverse.
The factory radio display should now show the live video feed from your newly installed backup camera.
Confirm image clarity and camera angle.
The C-RVC programmer is VIN-specific — it is only needed once and can be removed after programming.
Ensure all wiring is secure and free from moving parts, excessive heat, or sharp edges.
If no image appears after installation, double-check RCA connections, power/ground wiring, and that the programmer was successfully used (green light).
