Components: 4 Rear Sensors (mounted in bumper valances), rear wiring harness, interior ParkSense module, and power harness.
✅ Rear bumper valances (with sensor ports)
✅ Rear sensor wiring harness
✅ Interior ParkSense module
✅ Rear Park Assist power harness (C-INTPKAC1-DT)
✅ Star connector plug (for interior CAN network)
8mm, 10mm, 15mm sockets
7mm socket (for radio bezel removal)
Plastic trim tools and pry bars
Drill (for firewall cover pass-through)
Zip ties
Silicone sealant
Run new harness from rear bumper along driver's side frame.
Zip tie excess wiring to factory harness—avoid the steel parking brake cable.
Troubleshooting Tip:
If wiring is hanging loosely or routed near moving parts, recheck and secure it to stationary harnesses or frame rails.
Remove driver’s side plastic wheel well liner:
(8) 8mm bolts, (1) 10mm bolt, (2) clips.
Troubleshooting Tip:
If the liner feels stuck, verify all bolts and clips are removed—don’t force it.
Remove interior cover (2x 15mm nuts), drill access hole, and route harness into cab.
Seal hole with silicone to ensure water protection.
Troubleshooting Tip:
Double-check routing path to avoid contact with hot exhaust or sharp frame edges.
Mount rear Park Assist module under driver dash panel.
Slide left tab into place, snap right side clip.
Plug main harness into center port of module.
Troubleshooting Tip:
If harness won’t seat fully, inspect connector for bent pins or debris.
Remove dash tray (top), remove (2) 7mm bolts to detach radio bezel.
Plug red-labeled connector into 12V cigarette lighter.
Route harness behind radio to driver footwell.
Troubleshooting Tip:
If cigarette lighter doesn’t provide power, test circuit or confirm fuse isn't blown.
Plug connector into left port of ParkSense module.
Plug start port connector into a star port (CAN network) behind driver’s footwell.
Reinstall all removed panels for a factory look.
Temporarily disconnect Security Gateway (SGW) module behind cluster.
Install SGW bypass harness.
I. Turn key to RUN (engine off)
II. Wait 60 seconds
III. Plug in Genie programmer
IV. Wait for solid green light (1–3 minutes)
V. Remove Genie
VI. Let vehicle sleep for 5 minutes
VII. Test ParkSense system
Troubleshooting Tip:
If Genie flashes red or doesn’t finish, confirm SGW bypass is fully seated and wiring connections are tight.
Symptom | Possible Cause | Fix |
---|---|---|
Rear sensors not detected | Loose harness connection | Recheck sensor connectors and module plug |
Genie fails to complete | SGW not bypassed | Reseat SGW bypass, retry after 60 sec |
No power to module | 12V outlet unplugged or fuse blown | Confirm lighter plug is seated and check fuse F87 |
System not activating | Missing CAN (star port) connection | Verify green plug is connected securely |
Bumper fascia doesn't fit | Wrong valance panels | Order correct valances for non-dual exhaust trucks |
Chime Volume Control: Adjust via Uconnect settings (Low / Medium / High).
Fuse Draw Issue: Some installs may cause parasitic draw—adjust Fuse F54 if needed. [CLICK HERE for Fuse F54 Fix]
